Are Human Beings Equal? The DNA among all humans is startling similar. Research from Stanford place it as high as 99.9%. If this is accurate- it is what makes human beings equal. Everything else is up for grabs. The inputs that result in inequality are seemingly without end especially in our era of social justice. All are based on violations, egregious or not of modern notions of morality, ethics, justice, etc. Subcategories of, gender, race, sexual orientation, personal identity, equality of outcomes and environment are contemporary hot buttons. These competing grievances are not equal. Some are considered imperative or crimes against humanity others are not. Often overlooked is that the definitions, on which they are based are fluid and change over time in response to social, cultural and technological inputs. For example, the contemporary definition of the word gay describes sexual orientation not emotional state. Are there metrics which are common to human action and not subject to, for better or worse, manipulation? What follows is a distillation of all these inputs with the requirement that they are consistent and common, to a greater or lesser degree, to all humanity. Generally speaking, to what extent are they?  Aggressive  Prolific  Curious  Adaptive  Mobile  Innovative These attributes have consistent definitions and easily discernable results/consequences. Geography, resources, environment, etc. influence/determine the extent of these characteristics in addition to whatever people innately possess. All toll, equality is rare. In regards to human interaction, when group of people (A) who possess these attributes in abundance encounters group of people (B) who do not- what happens? Displacement (i.e. the act of moving someone or something from one position/pace to another,) occurs. Often, it is the violent removal of group (B) although sometimes subjugation ensues. Its counterpart can be found in nature; a species, flora/fauna, with attributes encounters a native species does not possess and the indigenous is displaced. There are, of course, a myriad of factors and permutations that impact outcomes among human groups and individuals but is one looks deep enough the aforementioned attributes come into sharp relief. If the historical record is any indication look to Human DNA for equality
